The Digital Learning Specialist is responsible for creating, designing and delivering digital learning programs that drive adoption and enhance individual and firm performance. As a member of the firm’s Digital Learning Team (DLT), the Specialist will work collaboratively to ensure coverage and promotion of digital learning programs.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Facilitates digital learning programs through hands-on classroom instruction, software demonstrations and briefings, workshops, one-on-one coaching, and virtual formats (e.g., webinar, videoconference). Regularly solicits and incorporates feedback.
- Collaborates virtually with the firmwide Learning and Development team; provides input into and executes firmwide digital learning strategy as directed by DLT Management to ensure a high-quality and consistent approach in all offices.
- Uses blended learning solutions to provide an engaging approach to learning, knowledge retention and application.
- Communicates learning requests back to the Digital Learning Management to ensure consistency and coordination on any learning activities to be developed.
- Employs adult-learning and instructional-design models to create, collaborate on, and provide feedback on the design, development, and review of curriculum and learning documentation.
- Oversees scheduling of learning offerings.
- Works to enter and maintain current and accurate data in the firm’s Learning Management System; generate class rosters, reports, and forms as requested.
- Identifies and recommends areas for continual improvement to ensure high-quality service and effective learning resources.
- Stays up to date with current trends in project management, technology, instructional design, and facilitation.
- Collaborates on additional learning projects and performs other job-related duties as required.
- Is able to travel (5-10%).
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
Required:
- Minimum of three years in technical training and support in a legal or professional services environment
- Minimum of two years developing learning programs through the application of instructional design, curriculum design, adult-learning principles and measurement strategies
- Minimum of two years of experience with delivering learning programs using in live, in-person, virtual, and hybrid training environment
Preferred:
- Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree
