RESPONSIBILITIES

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial health and performance of the operating unit. This role provides critical insights into the financial health of day-to-day operations and helps drive informed decision-making to optimize resource use, improve cost efficiency, and ensure regulatory compliance.
 

  • Prepare annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitor monthly financial close and reporting processes in compliance with US GAAP.
  • Analyze and monitor expenditures, with emphasis on chemicals, energy, and labor.
  • Support operational and commercial teams with financial insight and decision support.
  • Prepare and present monthly management reports including P&L with analysis of key metrics.
  • Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of reconciling items.
  • Ensure accuracy and data integrity in ERP system.
  • Monitor capital expenditures and assist in ROI analysis for new equipment and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Coordinate with auditors during audits.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. federal, state, and local financial regulations.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.  (CPA, or MBA preferred.)
  • 5+ years of progressive finance experience, ideally in utilities or water/wastewater treatment industries.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (US GAAP).
  • Advanced proficiency in SAP S4/HANA and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
