Payroll Specialist, part time 10 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end payroll process, 30 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Analyze payroll data to identify discrepancies or trends, providing insights for management.
- Process annual W-2’s timely.
- Administer wage garnishments as directed by courts and State/ Federal agencies.
- Process onboarding paperwork for all new hires
- Collaborate with the Human Resources team to maintain up-to-date employee records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in employment status.
- Stay informed about changes in labor laws and regulations affecting payroll practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience in payroll processing.
- Familiarity with financial software applications, ADP, Paychex, Workday etc..
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets related to payroll.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of human resources practices as they relate to payroll processing is a plus.
