Job Title: Senior Corporate Accountant

Overview:
A global, innovation-driven high-technology company is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join its U.S. corporate finance team. This high-visibility position plays a critical role in global financial consolidation, intercompany eliminations, and lease accounting under ASC 842. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in corporate accounting, demonstrated experience in a multinational environment, and the ability to partner cross-functionally across the globe.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and manage the general ledger for U.S.-based subsidiaries, including preparing, reviewing, and posting complex journal entries.

Perform lease accounting responsibilities, ensuring compliance with ASC 842, including proper tracking, valuation, and reporting of lease obligations.

Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations, including coordination with international affiliates to ensure timely resolution and proper elimination in global consolidation.

Drive the monthly and quarterly close process, including account reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis.

Prepare financial schedules and reports to support internal reporting and external audits.

Collaborate with international finance teams to support accurate financial reporting across multiple entities and currencies.

Assist in developing and implementing internal controls and best practices across accounting processes.

Support system improvements, reporting enhancements, and process automation initiatives to improve efficiency and scalability.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; CPA strongly preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience, preferably with exposure to global operations and consolidation at the corporate level.

Strong knowledge of lease accounting (ASC 842) and intercompany eliminations.

Experience working in SAP or a comparable ERP system; high proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data validation).

Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and corporate accounting best practices.

Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a publicly traded or international technology company.

Familiarity with foreign currency accounting, global consolidations, and multi-entity structures.

Prior involvement in process improvement or ERP system upgrades.
