Pay: $30-35/hour
Schedule: Per diem, Fridays and/or Saturdays, 7AM-3PM
Dependent on clinic needs/patient volume
Requirements:
- 3+ years of clinical experience
- Active Illinois LPN License
- Active BLS Certification
- Graduated from an accredited allied health school
- Must be comfortable administering injections
- Must be comfortable performing phlebotomy
Responsibilities:
- Support physicians and other staff members in performing physical examinations and other procedures
- Perform all patient procedures according to company guidelines
- Explain testing procedures to patients
- Deliver exemplary customer service to patients
- Measure vital signs, (pulse, temperature, blood pressure, weight and height)
- Perform and maintain proficiency in venipuncture, specimen collection, electrocardiograms (EKGs), Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs), audiometric testing, vision testing, tonometry
- Provide all routine and travel vaccines as directed by the physician
- Record information in patient charts
- Promote and ensure a safe working environment for patients and coworkers
- Stock and clean exam rooms
- Assist with managing inventory and maintenance of medical supplies
- Assist in coordination of patient examinations, including escorting patients to testing and examination areas
