Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Payroll Manager (hybrid work model) to oversee and manage our payroll processes. This position will play a pivotal role in refining our payroll function using Spectrum software during our modernization efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in supervisory, union payroll, systems onboarding, and possess the ability to own the payroll process.

  • Process and manage payroll for a unionized workforce, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant execution while delivering comprehensive payroll reports to leadership.
  • Oversee the ongoing use of Spectrum software to streamline payroll operations.
  • Develop, refine, and maintain payroll systems and processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance with union regulations and company policies.
  • Perform basic HR-related tasks, such as entering employee data into systems, to support the organization.
  • Leverage software and systems expertise to adapt to and optimize payroll tools, including potential migrations or implementations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including union-specific requirements.
  • Provide reporting and analysis to leadership as needed, ensuring transparency and accuracy in payroll operations.

Qualifications

  • Required:
  • Proven experience managing union payroll processes.
  • Strong software and systems proficiency, with the ability to learn and adapt to new payroll platforms.
  • Ability to independently own and manage the payroll process and systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Preferred:
  • Experience with Spectrum software (or Trimble Construction One/Viewpoint platforms).
  • Exposure to basic HR functions.
  • Experience with payroll system implementation or migration.

    . . . Pay Statement and Pay Transparency Laws: rate of pay listed is on a per hour basis. You will be entitled to health insurance once employed for 60 days and you must work 30 hours per week, on average, per month to enroll and maintain health insurance through Complete Staffing Solutions.
