Hiring for an Ultrasound Technician/Technologist in Danvers, MA. 

This is just to cover specific dates in October: 10/2, 10/3, 10/10, 10/16, 10/17 and 10/24

Hours: 8:30am-4:30pm
Pay: $70/hr

 Your primary responsibility will be to perform ultrasound examinations on patients using specialized equipment, ensuring the production of clear and precise images for medical diagnosis. Your commitment to quality patient care and your technical expertise will contribute significantly to our healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct ultrasound procedures according to physician orders, ensuring that the highest quality images are obtained.
  • Maintain a compassionate and patient-centered approach, providing reassurance and clear communication throughout the procedure to alleviate patient anxiety.
  • Perform routine maintenance and quality control checks on ultrasound equipment to ensure its proper functioning. Report any malfunctions promptly.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including images and reports, in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
  • Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to discuss patient cases, interpret findings, and provide input for treatment planning.
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols, including infection control, to ensure the safety of patients, staff, and yourself during ultrasound procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques through ongoing professional development and training.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality and efficiency of the diagnostic imaging department.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent credential.
  • State licensure or certification as required by your jurisdiction.
  • Strong technical skills and proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment and handle high-stress situations.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to patient confidentiality.
