BASE COMPENSATION RANGE: $140,000-$145,000

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Finance Manager to support financial operations for a fast-growing and dynamic manufacturing business unit. This role is critical in driving profitability and operational efficiency through accurate cost analysis, financial reporting, and collaboration with plant operations, supply chain, and corporate finance teams.
Key Responsibilities

Calculate actual manufacturing costs and prepare reports comparing estimated vs. actual production costs; investigate variances.

Monitor and report on customer and product margin performance, providing actionable insights to leadership.

Develop and maintain KPIs and dashboards to track plant performance.

Collect, analyze, and maintain accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and overhead.

Lead item set-up, cost updates, and bill of materials accuracy.

Manage cost accounting within ERP (Dynamics 365 experience a plus), including month-end inventory processes.

Support and coordinate periodic physical inventory counts.

Assist in budgeting and forecasting, partnering with operations to validate assumptions and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA preferred).

7+ years of financial analysis or cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.

Strong background in cost accounting, variance analysis, and margin reporting.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and ERP system experience (Dynamics 365 strongly preferred).

Proven ability to partner with business leads and drive continuous improvement.
