Title: Patient Intake Coordinator
Location: Fall River AND Fairhaven, MA
Hours: M-F 8:00am – 4:30pm
Assignment: Contract, 5 months
Need: By October 4th or sooner
Pay: $24 – $26

Responsibilities:

Scheduling new patient appointments using an internal work queue.
Scheduling incoming referrals from outside organizations.
Obtaining medical records and imaging.
Obtaining authorization from outside referrals.
Answering new patient calls, working a shared pool of basket messages helping reschedule new patient appointments, etc.

Qualifications:

Equal to completion of four years of high school plus additional courses or training required
Healthcare experience, preferred
Demonstrated very good communication & interpersonal skills.
Strong computer skills including medical based programs.
Proficiency with Word, Excel, and other software programs preferred.
