Accounting Manager

What You’ll Do
• Lead and manage the accounting Dept and all aspects of accounting; set objectives, coach and mentor team as well as hands on accounting
•  Manage month and year-end, taxes, reconciliations, financial reporting, and statements
• Handle revenue recognition, lease accounting, fixed assets, inventory, and expense accruals
• Research and apply technical accounting guidance to new transactions and standards
• Manage audits, GAAP compliance, internal policies and compliance
• Collaborate across departments and partner with leadership to review financial statements and support strategic decision making
• Enhance internal controls, reporting processes, and overall data integrity
• Systems and process improvements

What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA (must)
• Management experience is a must
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and technical accounting standards
• Experience managing accounting operations and financial reporting in a complex and large organization
• Strong communication skills and ability to partner cross functionally
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
• Experience with fixed assets and inventory
• Experience with a publicly traded company
