This is a critical leadership role responsible for architecting, executing, and managing all procurement strategies within a medical device/regulated manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate must be a strong manager who drives strategic value, mitigates supply chain risk, and ensures operational efficiency across a large inventory base.
? Key Responsibilities and Strategic Focus

Category Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Sourcing Architect and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies for competitive advantage. Secure fair market prices through strategic negotiation and market analysis. Develop and cultivate a high-performing, resilient, and diverse supplier base.
Inventory & Planning Manage a very large inventory (10,000–15,000 SKU counts). Lead SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning) meetings. Execute procurement with precision to maintain stock levels and ensure the integrity of inventory data.
Financial & Contract Management Champion a culture of long-term savings and deliver measurable value by reducing expenses. Lead negotiations on all significant contracts for advantageous commercial and legal terms. Systematically manage the lifecycle of existing contracts and demonstrate strong experience management payment.
Engineering & Production Work closely with production and engineering teams. Strong experience with documentation: BOM (Bill of Materials), NCR (Non-Conformance Reports), and ECO (Engineering Change Orders).
Risk & Performance Develop and implement robust risk management strategies across the supply chain. Forecasting the budget and spending/cost projection, especially with very long lead times. Establish and monitor KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
Team Leadership Manage procurement team resources effectively and foster a high-performing team through training and professional development.

? Required Education, Training, and Skills

Requirement Type Specific Requirements
Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Project Management, or Engineering. Proven 5 + years of working experience as a Procurement Manager or similar role.
Industry (A MUST) Experience in the Medical Device/Regulated Industry, with manufacturing experience being essential.
Systems Proficiency Salesforce is a Must. Working knowledge of ERP Systems and supplier/third-party management software. Proficient in Excel.
Certifications APICS, CPIM, CSCP (Highly Valued).
Core Competencies

Strong strategic thinking and Project management experience.
