? Senior Electro-Mechanical Technician III (2nd Shift) – Medical Device Innovation

The Mission: Why This Role Matters

Join us and be a core contributor to the manufacturing of our revolutionary medical devices. You won’t just be assembling components—you’ll be working on complex, high-energy systems that are used in proton therapy to treat cancer, directly impacting patient lives. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned technician to leverage their skills in a high-stakes, FDA-compliant environment.

Schedule: 1:00 PM – 11:30 PM (2nd Shift). Note: Mandatory overtime is currently required until 2026 to meet critical production demand.

Key Responsibilities: What You Will Do

As a Senior Electro-Mechanical Technician, you will be the expert hands guiding the final stages of our product assembly.

High-Complexity System Build & Test

  • Precision Assembly: Execute the assembly, installation, and final alignment of small and large components within complex electromechanical systems.

  • High-Power Wiring: Build, test, and install high-current and high-voltage power cables and distribution equipment (e.g., plant switchgear, motor control centers) for high-power DC and RF devices.

  • Electronics Integration: Assemble and integrate critical electronic components, including cabinetry, backplanes, PLC racks, and complex signal systems.

  • Live System Work: Safely and proficiently work on systems energized by live electrical sources during testing and final phase configuration.

Quality, Documentation, and Leadership

  • Good Documentation Practice (GDP) Expert: Maintain strong GDP throughout the manufacturing lifecycle by creating, reviewing, and accurately documenting all assembly procedures and component modifications.

  • Compliance and Archiving: Ensure a reliable, transparent documentation trail for FDA regulatory compliance and quality management by properly using electronic records and managing document archives.

  • Training & Mentorship: Act as a subject matter expert, assisting in tool specification and acquisition, and training and mentoring lower-level technicians.
