Registered Nurse – Outpatient Neurosurgery
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Full time
Compensation: $90,000–$100,000 based on experience

Overview
A leading outpatient neurosurgery practice is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team. The RN will play a key role in supporting physicians, coordinating patient care, managing clinical workflows, and ensuring high-quality, compassionate care for patients. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment supporting complex neurological cases.
Key Responsibilities

Assist physicians with patient care, education, and clinical procedures.

Collect and document patient health information in the electronic medical record (EMR).

Coordinate care across the continuum (inpatient, outpatient, home, etc.), including medication management and prior authorizations.

Administer medications and immunizations as directed.

Provide triage (phone, in-person, and electronic) for symptom management and patient questions.

Manage urgent and emergent patient situations in collaboration with the care team.

Arrange diagnostic testing and review results as appropriate.

Maintain infection control compliance and support continuous quality improvement efforts.

Educate patients and families, ensuring understanding of care plans and follow-up.

Serve as a resource and preceptor for new clinical staff as needed.

Perform related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent education/experience.

Current RN license (state-specific).

BLS certification required.

0–4 years of nursing experience; outpatient or neurosurgery experience preferred.

Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
