Key responsibilities
- Site supervision: Oversee all daily construction activities, coordinate workers and subcontractors, and ensure the site is clean and organized.
- Safety and compliance: Enforce safety regulations, conduct safety audits, and report and correct unsafe conditions.
- Schedule and budget management: Create and manage work schedules, coordinate material delivery, and monitor project progress and costs to ensure they stay on schedule and within budget.
- Quality assurance: Review and interpret construction documents like blueprints and specifications to ensure the work meets the required standards.
- Problem-solving: Identify and resolve conflicts, delays, and other unexpected issues that arise on the job site.
- Communication: Maintain clear communication with project managers, clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Record-keeping: Keep a daily log of project activities, progress, and any issues that occurred.
