Title: QA Reviewer
Location: Akron, OH 44305

  • Hybrid (half in office/half home office)

Hours: M-F 9am – 6pm
Pay: $21 – $23, depending on experience
Assignment Type: Temp to hire

SUMMARY:
Review signed loan documents for accuracy and completeness and forward to the appropriate lenders.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Proper review of executed closing documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Verify if funds are due from consumers and received per CDALTA, and if not, notify appropriate individuals.
  • Review and attach executed documents to appropriate orders.
  • Ensure quality of scanned executed documents are legible and attached to the file and made web viewable.
  • Ensure lender specifications are met.
  • Review State and County requirements.
  • Review title commitments to ensure all title requirements have been met.
  • Verify and read all notes in CurativeInsured and Closing products and ensure all requirements are met.
  • Create proper notes for all files reviewed pertinent to if the review passed or failed and create tasks for corrections, if needed. Notify appropriate personnel if files will not be pushed to funding.
  • Review and attach trailing mail and corrections to the appropriate orders and submit corrections to lender per their specifications.
  • Approve shipping of packages to lenders after review.
  • Verify all files received daily have been reviewed.
  • Elevate problem files to audit rejections for resolution.
  • Maintain settlement review group box.
  • Assist with filing, copying, customer service, phone back up, distribution and other duties as assigned by manager.
  • Must be personable, positive and a professional representative of the Company.
  • Regular consistent attendance is required, that could include attendance at after hour Company events.
  • Ability to accept supervision.
  • Ability to foster, develop and maintain professional and collaborative working relationships.
  • Must be able to get along with others, i.e., peers, supervisors, outside customers, and vendors.
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of management, employees and customers by email, phone and in person.
  • Ability to work overtime as requested and approved by manager.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to perform under pressure and be flexible with disruptions throughout the workday.
  • Must be able to work approved and requested overtime, by manager.
  • Repetitive and continual typing motion is required.

Sedentary work:

  • Exerting up to 5 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
  • Sedentary work involves sitting a majority of the time. Walking and standing are required, occasionally.
