..Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of the Company’s cash flow forecasts (daily, weekly, monthly, and annual) and perform financial modeling, analyzing budget to actual results.
- Monitor daily cash availability, requirements and activity across multiple bank accounts and entities, ensuring accurate cash balances and transaction details are pulled for specific bank accounts. Consistently update cash forecast Excel files for weekly actuals.
- Oversee cash reconciliation files and waterfall charts, preparing emails to outline the Company’s weekly cash position.
- Request approvals for wire limits and transfers and manage the online account associated with the wires.
- Run bank statement reports, coordinate bank account requests and handle the opening and closing of bank accounts.
- Perform foreign exchange and interest rate risk calculations and reports findings on leadership.
- Support the administration of debt compliance, including coordination and strategic problem solving with various internal and external partners.
- Administer Company purchasing cards.
- Maintain SOX compliance in treasury and related areas.
- Prepare WBS journal entries, pricing updates, certificate preparations and compliance.
- Respond to tax notices and run reports for tax payments, tracking tax overpayments by state.
- Monitor bank service fees and address quality issues including benchmark studies of banks and their services to evaluate whether it fits Company’s requirements.
- Recommend, implement, and maintain treasury control & process improvements.
- Provide analytical and other support in response to changing business conditions and requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field
- 3-5+ years of experience in finance, banking, and/or corporate treasury. CTP or CFA designation a plus
- Treasury experience in supporting domestic and international operational banking relationships, corporate cash management, payment processing, investments, and forecasting
- Knowledge of franchising, a plus
- Experience with Securitization, a plus
- Knowledge of treasury software comfort with Great Plains or equivalent general ledger system
- Advanced spreadsheet and modeling skills, including experience in preparing cash forecasts and cash flow analyses
- Knowledge of investment portfolio strategy, banking, and financial instruments
- General knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements for investments and other financial instruments
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Ability to break down problems into meaningful parts and come to rational and well-thought-out conclusions
