Patient Access Coordinator ($25/hour)

Dermatology practice hiring for 2 patient access reps
Temp to hire
Hours: 4×10’s preferred, 8am-6pm with a day off during the week
Also would consider 8:30am-5:30am

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to all incoming calls – document and direct accordingly.
  • Appointment Scheduling and/or rescheduling
  • Reviewing all registration details, account balances and deductible/co-insurance issues.
  • Alert all patient registration and collection issues to on-site billing and main reception.
  • Actively assist patient with acquiring needed referrals
  • Process prior authorizations
  • Manage triage calls
  • Assist patients with prescription refills and issues
  • Follow-up calls as requested by providers
  • Additional projects as assigned

Requirements
At least 1 recent year of healthcare administration experience
EMR experience
Strong customer service skills
Medical call center experience
