Part-Time Bookkeeper (20–30 Hours/Week) – Flexible Schedule – Up to $32/hr – Dracut, MA
Position Summary
The Bookkeeper will manage A/P and A/R, assist with financial reporting and analysis, and support general accounting activities. Accuracy, initiative, and a team-player mentality are essential. Experience with Global Shop ERP is a plus.

Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
- Enter and process vendor invoices, purchase orders, and receiving records in Global Shop
- Match invoices to packing slips and POs; verify coding and approvals
- Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Process vendor payments (checks, ACH, credit cards)
- Maintain vendor files and respond to inquiries
- Assist with AP aging reports and cash-flow planning
Accounts Receivable
- Generate and send customer invoices and account statements
- Apply customer payments and reconcile AR accounts
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on past-due balances
- Work with customers and internal teams to resolve billing issues
- Assist with credit applications and account setup
General Accounting & Financial Support
- Assist with month-end closing and account reconciliations
- Support financial reporting, budgeting, and cost analysis
- Track inventory-related expenses and cost variances
- Prepare and organize documents for audits
- Provide backup support across accounting/administrative functions
Team & Operations Support
- Collaborate closely with purchasing, production, and management
- Pitch in across departments and handle multiple responsibilities
- Support process improvements and efficiencies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience required
- Strong A/P and A/R skills
- Manufacturing and/or ERP experience preferred (Global Shop a plus)
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and within a team
