Payroll Specialist

FULLY IN Office 5 days / week in Warwick

We are seeking an in-office, detail-oriented, highly organized Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate is meticulous, reliable, and dedicated to providing exceptional client service.

Responsibilities include reviewing and entering financial data into our systems—such as customer account information, transactions, and payments—while ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and internal regulations and policies.

Key Responsibilities

· Process bi-weekly payroll within multiple divisions with accuracy and efficiency

· Review timecards, deductions, benefits, and wage adjustments

· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations

· Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to inquiries promptly

· Prepare payroll reports and maintain accurate records

· Assist internal team members with payroll-related questions

· Collaborate with internal resources to ensure payroll accuracy and smooth operations

Required Qualifications

·Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

· Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction

· Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple accounts or deadlines

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

 

Preferred Qualifications

· Previous payroll experience (1–3+ years preferred)

· Solid understanding of payroll laws and regulations

…Pay Statement and Pay Transparency Laws: rate of pay listed is on a per hour basis. You will be entitled to health insurance once employed for 60 days and you must work 30 hours per week, on average, per month to enroll and maintain health insurance through Complete Staffing Solutions.
