Contract to potential hire opportunity for a multispecialty clinic!
Location: Westerly, RI 02891
Schedule: M-F 8:30am-5pm
Rate: $20-$24/hr DOE
Duties:
- Record patient medical history and vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, weight).
- Prepare patients for examinations and explain procedures.
- Assist physicians during exams.
- Administer medications or injections as directed.
- Collect and prepare lab specimens (blood, urine).
- Perform basic lab tests (e.g., EKGs).
- Sterilize instruments and maintain examination rooms.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Graduation from an accredited medical assistant certificate program.
- Certification/Registration (CCMA/CMA/AAMA/RMA) preferred.
