Charge Nurse (LPN) | Gastroenterology

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:30AM – 5:00PM

Requirements: 

  • 2+ years of LPN experience
  • New Jersey LPN License
  • ACLS/BLS Certification
  • Experience with NextGen preferred but not required
  • IV Certification required before start

Responsibilities:

  • Triage patient symptoms based on urgency
  • Interview patients about their medical history, medications, allergies, and current symptoms
  • Schedule procedures
  • Contact patients with results
  • Complete medication refills
  • Manage prior authorizations
  • Assist with GI capsule endoscopies, manometry, IV infusions, and BRAVO capsule endoscopy
  • Supply and medication inventory management and ordering
  • Daily monitoring and prioritization of tasks, inboxes, voicemails, and phone queues
  • Ensuring day-to-day department tasks are completed fairly, consistently, and remain up to date
  • Learning all GI office specialty procedures and being responsible for their coordination and execution

You will be entitled to health insurance once employed for 60 days and you must work 30 hours per week, on average, per month to enroll and maintain health insurance through Complete Staffing Solutions.
