Multispecialty centers are looking for a full time Medical Assistant.
Temp to potential hire
Hours: Mon- Fri; 8 hour shifts between 6:45 AM – 6 PM

Stamford / Cos cob / Greenwich / Greenwich Hospital / Rye Brook, NY / New Rochelle, NY
Specialties include: Primary care / Endo / Podiatry / Pulmonary / Surgical / OBGYN / Rheumatology / Urology / Pediatrics / Neurology / ENT / Heart and Vascular
Responsibilities:
-Accompanies patients to exam/procedure room.
-Prepares patients for visit.
-Documents medical and surgical history, family history, social history, problem list, and medications, in EPIC.
-Assists physicians/providers with various procedures.
-Maintains patient records effectively
-Efficiently manages and routinely checks EPIC in-basket.
-Answers calls and return calls
-Sends/receives patient medical records and abstracts new patient records into EPIC.
-Cross trained on front desk duties including but not limited to, greeting patients/visitors, answering calls, scheduling appointments, maintaining/scanning patient medical records
Qualifications:
-High School Diploma or equivalent.
-Graduation from an accredited medical assistant certificate program.
-Certification/Registration (CCMA/CMA/AAMA/RMA) preferred.
-Minimum of 1 year medical assistant experience
