Research Assistant – Wet Lab Technician
Pay: $31.83/hr
Schedule: Mon–Fri | 8:00–4:30 or 8:30–5:00
Location: Fully Onsite (Lab Setting)
A leading university research lab is seeking a detail-oriented Wet Lab Technician to support human-subject research involving palm sweat and air sample collection.
This is a hands-on lab role working directly with volunteers and biological specimens.
Key Responsibilities

Assist participants with palm sweat sample collection (no bodily fluids)

Prevent contamination and follow strict lab protocols

Extract and process organic compounds

Support new air-sampling equipment testing and process improvements

Catalog specimens and document results

Coordinate domestic & international sample shipping

Maintain lab inventory, supplies, and safety compliance
Requirements

2+ years of lab experience (human subjects highly preferred)

Experience handling biological or chemical materials

Strong attention to detail and contamination control
