Clinic hiring for medical assistant

Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program
- MA certificate or registration strongly preferred
- At least 3 years of recent experience
- Epic experience
Responsibilities:
- Rooming process: Escort patients to exam room and follow practice workflow (e.g., patient identification, initiate medication reconciliation, screening questions, vital signs) including documentation in Epic in a professional, inclusive, accurate, and enthusiastic manner. Prepare patient for procedure, explaining the procedure, ensuring that the patients concerns are addressed. Facilitate the patient’s recovery from the procedure and ensure the prompt turnover of the room.
- Ensures that all equipment is present and in optimal operating condition. Manages maintenance needs of equipment including regular maintenance and repairs, coordinating with vendor and Practice Manager as necessary.
- Anticipates the needs of the patient and clinician to facilitate the smooth and timely flow of the procedure.
- • Maintains sterility at all times; recognizes and resolves any breaks in sterile field.
