Account Manager – Fremont, California (Remote with Local Travel)

Base Pay: $110,000 – $125,000 + Bonus Incentives

Incentive Structure:
Account Managers can earn up to 60% of their salary in their first year and 100% after one full fiscal year through the following plan:

  • 20% based on goals and objectives (paid annually)

  • 40% based on targets for incentivized accounts (paid quarterly)

  • 40% based on year-over-year growth (paid annually)

The incentive program activates when divisional performance meets or exceeds 85% of budgeted targets.


Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager based in Fremont, CA to manage customer relationships, drive sales growth, and expand business opportunities in the region. This position works remotely but requires regular travel throughout the local area.

The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator with strong technical and business acumen, capable of building trusted partnerships with customers and internal teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with customers and potential clients.

  • Conduct sales calls, respond to inquiries, and manage customer accounts.

  • Create and deliver quotations while clarifying customer requirements.

  • Collaborate with plant or operations personnel to ensure production and delivery meet customer expectations.

  • Manage projects from quote through completion.

  • Conduct customer feedback sessions and surveys to ensure satisfaction.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and emerging markets.

  • Maintain a professional and ethical approach in all business dealings.


Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in sales, account management, or customer service.

  • Experience selling into semiconductor or medical device manufacturing markets is highly desirable.

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes preferred.

  • Proven ability to build customer relationships and manage expectations.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to quote pricing accurately and manage delivery expectations.

  • Must demonstrate a strong commitment to quality, ethics, and customer satisfaction.


Physical & Work Requirements

  • Ability to work seated for extended periods (in office, during travel, or on flights).

  • Manual dexterity for data entry and administrative work.

  • Ability to bend, reach, and lift up to 25–30 lbs.

  • Must be comfortable working in an office or industrial environment with potential exposure to heat, noise, or fumes.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.


Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $110,000 – $125,000

  • Incentives: Up to 100% of base salary potential after one year

  • Bonus Schedule: Quarterly and annual components based on performance
