Position: Accounting Clerk

The Accounting Clerk will assume responsibility for and execute tasks pertaining to the credit card financial management system (RAMP) including, but not limited to, receipt collection and organization/categorization, processing, record retention, discrepancy resolution, data extraction and processing, and integration with the accounting system (QuickBooks Desktop).  The candidate should be proficient in basic computer operations and common software applications such as utilizing web browsers, Gmail, and Microsoft Excel.  Experience with RAMP and/or QuickBooks Desktop is preferred but not required. Candidate must be comfortable using a telephone and/or Gmail to contact other company employees (coworkers) to obtain outstanding items and/or information.    

Your job duties shall include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Support the transition, implementation, and act as a key resource for the successful integration and utilization of new banking procedures related to a new banking partner.  Candidate should be able to demonstrate meticulous coordination and attention to detail.  Candidate should be an effective communicator with good interpersonal skills.
  • Responsible for processing and monitoring ACH transactions and ensuring compliance with NACHA rules and regulations. Candidates should be familiar with the Automated Cleaning House (ACH) and National Automated Cleaning House Association (NACHA) networks and banking regulations.  Candidates should have a strong commitment to confidentiality and data security.
  • Perform general accounting and bookkeeping tasks

  • Provide crucial administrative support to our accounting team, ensuring daily operations run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Take on related accounting responsibilities as needed.
  • Lead by example, be solution based and always maintain a professional and positive culture within our offices or on our job sites.
  • Instill confidence in our clients, sub-contractors, company owners and fellow employees alike.
  • Work in concert with our Project Managers and other admin staff to successfully manage duties in an efficient and productive manner.
  • Demonstrate the commitment needed in executing all the above to uphold the quality and standard of work or company embodies

This role will sit in our Maynard office 5 days per week
