- Establishes and maintains sound accounting controls for all revenues, expenses, disbursements, and receipts by adherence to Corporate and divisional accounting policies and procedures.
- Ensures timely preparation of accurate monthly financial statements for U.S. and overseas locations by overseeing and/or reviewing all general accounting activity in the general ledger.
- Prepares various exhibits, analyses, schedules, journal entries, tax packages, and Corporate reports for all locations.
- Coordinates budgeting inputs and information from all locations during Preliminary and Final Profit Plan.
- Monitors Freight costs.
- Perform internal audits and write-ups as needed.
- Monitors cash for all locations
- Reviews monthly reporting and account analysis and suggests accrual adjustments to VP of Finance.
- Ensures that all quarterly and annual financial workpapers are complete, accurate, and timely for all company locations, and are forwarded to Corporate headquarters according to schedule.
- Reviews accounts payable disbursements (ACH/check) for all vendor/supplier payments, expense reimbursements, commissions, and customer rebates.
