Administrative Assistant
Join the dynamic team at IMP, a Boston based fintech consulting company that provides services to the top asset managers as an Administrative Assistant to the President. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the President and other employees; coordinating meetings and related processes; managing activities of the office; and engaging with internal and external stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills, a willingness to move projects forward and a keen attention to detail and copy-editing are imperative for this position. We are looking for a self-motivated and self-driven person who takes full ownership of their duties.
DUTIES:

  • Coordinate the schedule of the President for internal and external meetings and roles; arrange travel when necessary.
  • Interact with staff setting a welcoming tone for all employees and manage the Boston office.
  • Schedule meetings with internal and external stakeholders and acts as the point person for distribution of materials, attendance tracking, and follow-up.
  • Organize and prepare all materials necessary for meetings and ensures the President and other team members have access to the materials in a timely manner.
  • Strong proofreading, copy-editing, and writing skills are required.
  • Other general administrative duties as needed.
  • Position is Hybrid Monday – Friday with a minimum of 3 days in person, 8:30-5:30pm.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Administrative Assistant.
  • Demonstrated strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must handle assignments that involve highly sensitive or confidential matters. Must demonstrate the ability to interact effectively with other team members and Clients.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Requires acceptable results of background checks and drug testing.
