Admin Assistant must have benefits experience. $23-$25hr Mon-Fri 8-5pm
We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to provide support to our Employee Benefits team. The position performs significant administrative and operational tasks that are integral to the effective and efficient operation of the organization. The role requires versatility, multitasking, flexibility, and adaptability to changing responsibilities.
- Provide administrative support to the team
- Organize daily priorities and deadlines for department including renewal expiration list
- Assist with creating and editing new business and renewal quotations and proposals
- Assist with preparing and editing coverage and benefit comparisons
- Review written correspondence and draft replies when necessary
- Answer incoming calls and email requests and redirect as needed
- Provide backup phone coverage for team members
- Provide calendar management and preparation for monthly renewal meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- 1-3+ years of administrative experience
- Employee benefits or insurance experience a plus
- Technologically savvy, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Offices suite and Adobe
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Resourceful and hands-on individual with a strong service orientation
- Ability to remain organized and work in a fast paced deadline driven environment
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
