Job Summary
The Home Modification Loan Program (HMLP) is a state-funded initiative that provides no-interest loans to help homeowners make essential accessibility modifications, allowing individuals with disabilities or mobility impairments to remain safely and comfortably in their homes. This position provides administrative and client-support functions for both the HMLP Program Manager and the RAFT program.
Key Responsibilities

Answer and return calls from potential borrowers.

Provide clients with appropriate applications and program information.

Enter client information into required software systems for accurate recordkeeping.

Maintain and update client files to ensure compliance with program and funder standards.

Communicate with clients regarding incomplete applications or missing documentation.

Submit completed HMLP applications and bids to the Loan Fund Manager for review.

Update the CEDAC database with repayments, disbursements, and authorizations.

Assist the Loan Fund Manager with internal and external events, including presentations, workshops, and outreach.

Conduct regular follow-up with clients to monitor progress.

Provide backup support for the RAFT call queue.

Assist walk-in clients with RAFT applications.

Experience Requirements

Minimum of one (1) year of experience in human services, case management, or a related administrative role.

Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with staff, community partners, and diverse clients.

Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain a team-focused approach.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and provide excellent customer service.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general comfort with database/software systems.
