Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: Onsite – Worcester, MA

Job Summary

The Home Modification Loan Program (HMLP) is a state-funded initiative that provides no-interest loans to help homeowners make essential accessibility modifications, allowing individuals with disabilities or mobility impairments to remain safely and comfortably in their homes. This position provides administrative and client-support functions for both the HMLP Program Manager and the RAFT program.


Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and return calls from potential borrowers.

  • Provide clients with appropriate applications and program information.

  • Enter client information into required software systems for accurate recordkeeping.

  • Maintain and update client files to ensure compliance with program and funder standards.

  • Communicate with clients regarding incomplete applications or missing documentation.

  • Submit completed HMLP applications and bids to the Loan Fund Manager for review.

  • Update the CEDAC database with repayments, disbursements, and authorizations.

  • Assist the Loan Fund Manager with internal and external events, including presentations, workshops, and outreach.

  • Conduct regular follow-up with clients to monitor progress.

  • Provide backup support for the RAFT call queue.

  • Assist walk-in clients with RAFT applications.

  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment aligned with organizational values.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in human services, case management, or a related administrative role.

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with staff, community partners, and diverse clients.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain a team-focused approach.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and provide excellent customer service.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general comfort with database/software systems.
