Appointment Scheduler $22/hour

*This is completely back office / call center type role – NOT patient facing*
Pay: $20-22/hour
Schedule: 40 hours per week, must be flexible to work 8-hour shift between the below times, must work 1 late shift per week Monday 7AM-7PM Tuesday 7AM-7PM Wednesday 7AM-7PM Thursday 7AM-5PM Friday 7AM-5PM
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of medical call center / high-volume call experience
Knowledge in any EMR (practice uses eClinicalWorks, NaviNet, Helio – training provided)
Insurance verification experience 

Responsibilities:

Manage phone calls and triage/manage calls from patients, pharmacies, insurance companies, and other facilities
Schedule patient appointments
Perform insurance verification
Follow up on patients with missed appointments
Obtain authorization for motor vehicle and workers compensation patients
Monitor webchat via Snap Engage daily and respond to patient inquiries
Mange calls from hospitals and physician offices and route to the appropriate people
Create phone encounters as necessary
Interact with other departments within the organization
Responsible for timely and accurate completion of timesheets/time records for hours work and payroll processing, time records must be completed and approved no later than close of business day of each pay period
Responsible for timely completion of new hire training, departmental training, and yearly compliance training on an ongoing basis
Perform other duties as requested by management
