? What You’ll Do:

Support and serve as a backup to the Payroll Manager in processing payroll for 1,500+ employees (departments also enter payroll for their own departments)

Coordinate payroll inputs across departments; each department submits, payroll consolidates and executes

Ensure payroll accuracy and timeliness, working in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
-
Interpret multiple agreements and apply them appropriately in payroll processing

Assist with certified payroll reporting as needed

Maintain discretion while handling sensitive employee and compensation data

Work closely with HR, Finance, and departmental leads to troubleshoot and optimize processes
? Ideal Background:

Extensive experience in high-volume, multi-department payroll environments

Strong knowledge of unionized payroll practices

Prior exposure to certified payroll reporting preferred
-
Attention to detail, accountability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting

CPP certification is ideal — and rewarded!
