Hiring for a Property Assistant for a large company in Stamford, CT.

MUST live locally!!
Permanent role – salary is $72K
Monday thru Friday 8AM-5PM

MUST have HOA and Condo experience (minimum of 1 year very recent property manager/assistant experience). 

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our busy Property Management firm in Stamford. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the property management operations, ensuring that residents receive exceptional service. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Assist in managing daily operations of the property, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure maintenance standards are met and coordinate with facilities staff for necessary repairs.
  • Collaborate with the Property Manager on administrative tasks to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure proper follow-up and respond to resident inquiries/requests/concerns promptly. Manage and track interactions as needed.
  • Must be able to handle rapidly changing situations. Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely and organized manner.
  • Must be able to work on-call on assigned weekends.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Responsible for inventory control
  • Establish and manage vendor relationships and contracts.
  • Oversee the turnover of vacant units for new residents

Requirements: 

Strong customer relationship management skills with a focus on providing excellent service

Accurate data entry skills with attention to detail for maintaining records.

Experience in facilities management is beneficial for overseeing maintenance needs.

Exceptional phone etiquette for effective communication with tenants and vendors.

Proficiency in property management software, Computer skills (Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel)

Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to property management is advantageous.
