Assistant Program Director – Latency Group Home

Role Overview
The Assistant Program Director supports the day-to-day operations of the latency group home, ensuring effective functioning of the residential program and supervision of staff.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise Residential Supervisors and Lead Residential Counselors individually

Hire, train, evaluate, and supervise residential staff

Assist in implementing and monitoring treatment plans; gather feedback and present findings

Collaborate with Program Nurse to manage medical care, appointments, transportation, and documentation

Coordinate with Program Director and clinical team on treatment planning meetings and family visits, including transportation

Provide on-call coverage as assigned

Manage staff scheduling to maintain required staff-to-client ratios

Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or five years of equivalent experience

Minimum 2 years supervisory experience

Broad knowledge of non-profit administration and child protective systems

Knowledge of state regulations related to restraints and holds

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Must be at least 21 years old

Approved CORI, DCF, and driving background checks
