Assistant Program Director – Latency Group Home
Location: Springfield, MA
Salary: $58,240
 

Role Overview

The Assistant Program Director supports the day-to-day operations of the latency group home, ensuring effective functioning of the residential program and supervision of staff.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise Residential Supervisors and Lead Residential Counselors individually

  • Hire, train, evaluate, and supervise residential staff

  • Assist in implementing and monitoring treatment plans; gather feedback and present findings

  • Collaborate with Program Nurse to manage medical care, appointments, transportation, and documentation

  • Coordinate with Program Director and clinical team on treatment planning meetings and family visits, including transportation

  • Provide on-call coverage as assigned

  • Manage staff scheduling to maintain required staff-to-client ratios

  • Perform other duties as assigned


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or five years of equivalent experience

  • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience

  • Broad knowledge of non-profit administration and child protective systems

  • Knowledge of state regulations related to restraints and holds

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

  • Must be at least 21 years old

  • Approved CORI, DCF, and driving background checks
