Audit Manager- Public Accounting

Responsibilities:
 

  • Perform and supervise audits, reviews, and compilations for non-profit clients and pension plan audits
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and evaluate internal controls
  • Coordination of the day-to-day duties of planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up
  • Deep understanding of accounting and reporting standards
  • Mentor, train and supervise staff
  • Communicate with Partner on work status and client issues
  • Communicate appropriately with clients, providing excellent service and quick turnaround

Education/Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in accounting
  • CPA certification preferable or candidate should be working toward CPA certification
  • 5-7 years of experience in an audit and tax role with a public accounting firm
  • Strong technical accounting skills and research capabilities
  • Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with ProSystems FX Tax, ProSystems Engagement, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office and Excel
