Hiring for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in Bel Air, MD.
Once in a while, may need to travel througout Hartford County but primarily on-site in the Bel Air office.
Schedule: Fulltime, make your own hours as long as it’s 40 hours a week! No nights, some on-call required if something comes up but after hours are very rare and weekend on-call is shared with other BCBAs.
Salary: $80-90k (Based on experience)
Caseload is about 18 individuals, spread between Hartford County for both their residential and day programs. Most individuals require infrequent check-ins and are low-level support.

Key Responsibilities:
The BA stays current with trends in the field and ensures that best practices are implemented. Below outlines key aspects of the roles and responsibilities this position holds:
Works within a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary team to ensure Aspire’s standards, best practice standards, and regulatory standards are met. It is essential that the BA participates in agency wide, state specific and stakeholder committees as assigned. When applicable, the BA will participate in the on-call rotation as assigned. Depending on service provision standards, may have oversight of other areas, including behavior modifying medication or restrictive practices, such as seclusions or environmental restrictions. Completes assessments and related requirements in compliance with the service provision cycle for individuals on the respective caseload.
Implementation and Training:
Develops, trains, and monitors implementation of behavior support systems, programs or plans for varying ages and functioning levels. Assists in the modeling and teaching of behavioral or mental health strategies, plans, or program models to necessary stakeholders (e.g., staff, providers).
Program Oversight:
Monitors, verifies, and documents employee or provider adherence to plan implementation and the overall success of the plan. Creates and implements a variety of data collection procedures including data entry and graphing in an accurate and timely manner. Supports and/or supervises RBTs, BCBA and/or BCBA candidates.
Administrative Tasks:
Completes all required documentation meeting required deadlines. Ensures relevant sections of the individual electronic record is up to date and accurate.
Communication and Consultation:
Effectively communicates in both verbal and written form with necessary stakeholders. Accepts feedback from supervisors to ensure the quality of program implementation. Communicates and collaborates with both internal and external team members and stakeholders. Maintains ethical and professional boundaries and guidelines. Works cooperatively and collaboratively with all necessary stakeholders on a regular basis to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, etc.
- Current certification, in good standing, as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Current License in the state of Maryland
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Computer skills
- Must have satisfactory background checks
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
Working Conditions:
- Ability to handle physical aspects of job, including bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, and walking for periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Must be able to perform all physical management techniques
- May be required to travel
