Salary: $72k

Requirements:

  • Master’s in Applied Behavioral Analysis, Psychology, Human Services, or Special Education
  • Board Certified Behavioral Analyst Certification
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record, travel is involved and a reliable vehicle is needed
  • Verification of adequate personal auto insurance
  • Must undergo EEC screening including CORI and DCF checks

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement assessment tools to conduct functional behavior assessments and analyses when appropriate and develop appropriate behavior strategies to teach appropriate behavior and reduce maladaptive behaviors.
  • Provide ongoing support and create and present training workshops to direct support professionals and other individuals in support roles.
  • Meets as needed with supervised staff to discuss ongoing client issues and provide support as necessary.
  • Develops behavior plans/treatment plans for all clients with a focus on teaching and other strategies for reducing problematic behaviors, as well as providing crisis intervention as needed, including but not limited to verbal discussion/processing of events  with clients and staff and the application of physical intervention methods to reduce the risk on injury to clients or staff.
  • Maintain all data, paperwork, and communication between personal care staff and families, and to provide ongoing feedback to government related agencies. The BCBA will also perform other duties as assigned by the Clinical Director of Residential Services. Candidate must have experience with the writing of IEP goals and objectives/benchmarks.
  • Provide transportation for clients to and from site (in agency vehicles as well as personal vehicle).
