Business Development Representative

A nationally recognized organization is seeking a Business Development Representative to help grow strategic partnerships with top employers by introducing impactful family solutions. This role will focus on generating and qualifying leads, setting introductory meetings for regional sales leaders, and mapping key decision-makers within targeted companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage a pipeline of employer prospects by identifying target organizations, researching contacts, and initiating outreach

  • Schedule and coordinate qualified meetings with the appropriate sales director for the region

  • Understand the unique needs of leaders and decision-makers 

  • Map organizational structures and identify key contacts across priority industries

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on family care offerings

  • Collaborate with internal sales leadership to ensure alignment on territory goals, messaging, and lead handoffs

  • Use CRM and sales engagement tools to track outreach, follow-ups, and performance metrics

  • Assist in driving market strategy by leveraging insights from prospect conversations

Ideal Background:

  • 3 to 5 years in outbound prospecting or inside sales roles, preferably selling services or solutions – benefits experience is a bonus!

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or related field; additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

  • Familiarity with Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Workday, Outreach or similar tools

  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding outreach and meeting goals

  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills

  • Ability to distill complex service offerings into relevant, compelling messaging

  • Highly organized, with strong time management and the ability to prioritize independently
