We are looking for a dynamic Buyer to join the team!
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in Kanban system
- Negotiate pricing and payment terms with multiple vendors and ensure correct delivery on blanket orders
- Maintain manufacturing stock supplies in the onsite supplies vending machine for the shop floor
- Track and follow all open orders and follow up
- Meet with the production team to identify needs
- Process internal requisitions between three buildings on campus
- Assist in maintaining metrics to continually monitor measurable supplier performance
- Support Senior Buyer in ad hoc projects and initiatives
Qualifications Desired:
- High School/GED, Bachelors Degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience in a Buyer role within a manufacturing environment, aerospace preferred
- Experience with inventory management programs (preferably Kanban) and Project Management tools (preferably Epicor)
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Strong time management and organization skills
- Ability to communicate and collaborate cross-departmentally
- Capability to network, provide information, and work with multiple stakeholders and vendors

Pay: $70,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
