Responsibilities

  • Strategy, Planning and Management
  • Financial Reporting, Budgeting and Forecasting Preparation and Analysis
  • Board of Directors and Committee Relationship Management
  • Accounting, General Ledger, Administration and Operations Leadership
  • Conduct On-Going Financial and Risk Management
  • Serve as the agency’s Risk Management Officer
  • Lead the Finance Team

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor of Science in Accounting/Finance required.  A master’s degree in business administration or related graduate degree is preferred.  Certified Public Accountant (CPA) also preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience of accounting or finance experience, with at least 5 years served as the top financial executive of an organization.
  • Experience in a non-profit agency with contracts with the Department of Developmental Disabilities (or similar entities), HUD, and MassHealth is preferred.
  • Previous experience with external auditors, Boards of Directors communications, state and federal regulatory/reporting administration for non-profits, and GAAP compliance is also preferred.
