Responsibilities:
- Strategy, Planning and Management
- Financial Reporting, Budgeting and Forecasting Preparation and Analysis
- Board of Directors and Committee Relationship Management
- Accounting, General Ledger, Administration and Operations Leadership
- Conduct On-Going Financial and Risk Management
- Serve as the agency’s Risk Management Officer
- Lead the Finance Team
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor of Science in Accounting/Finance required. A master’s degree in business administration or related graduate degree is preferred. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) also preferred.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience of accounting or finance experience, with at least 5 years served as the top financial executive of an organization.
- Experience in a non-profit agency with contracts with the Department of Developmental Disabilities (or similar entities), HUD, and MassHealth is preferred.
- Previous experience with external auditors, Boards of Directors communications, state and federal regulatory/reporting administration for non-profits, and GAAP compliance is also preferred.
