Medical Collections Specialist
Salary: $22-25/hour
Location: Farmington, CT
Hours: 40 hours/week, 7:30am-4:00pm
Job Requirements:
- At least 3 years’ of investigative or clerical experience related to collections work.
- Or applicable college training and 1-2 years of experience
- Medical collections experience
- Knowledge of collections and its legal aspects
- Knowledge of claims processing
- Knowledge of effective telephone/interviewing techniques
- Oral and written communication skills; interpersonal skills
- Ability to compile and analyze facts; ability to prepare, process and maintain records and reports.
