Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and maintain robust relationships with existing clients.
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of clients’ insurance needs to recommend appropriate coverage options.
  • Negotiate policy terms, premiums, and coverage details with clients and insurance carriers.
  • Work directly with customers to review and analyze appropriate insurance coverages, and recommendations.
  • Manage account servicing tasks, including processing quotes, policy changes, and renewals efficiently.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and resolving issues effectively.
  • Develop insurance renewal strategies and initiate marketing process directly with carriers.
  • Collaborate with agency team members to ensure client satisfaction and team success.
  • Recommend and quote additional coverages and policies to customers.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in commercial insurance account management with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
  • Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated analysis skills to assess client needs and develop customized insurance solutions.
  • Knowledge of marketing strategies, and customer service best practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.

Summary:

Growing insurance agency is looking for the right person to join our team in a Commercial Lines Account Manager position. Candidate must have prior insurance agency or company experience along with prior customer service experience and must be proficient in Microsoft online platforms including word and excel. Candidate must also be comfortable interacting with clients, carrier underwriters, and carrier marketing representatives.

The position includes quoting and processing new and renewal business, and all aspects of commercial lines account managing. We are looking for a team member who will be committed to providing the highest level of service with the goal of exceeding customer expectations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
