Hiring for a Construction Project Lead (jr level) for a company in Marlborough, MA.
MUST have 1-3 years in Construction, Facilities, Store Planning, Fixturing, Architectural Design, or related construction trades
Pay: $30/hr
Hybrid role – in office Tuesday/Wednesday and remote Monday/Thursday/Friday
36.25 hour work week
Responsibilities- looking at emails, utilize Lucernex reviewing exterior sign drawings and, looking at PDFs looking at drawings.
Construction Project Lead directly oversees miscellaneous construction and signage projects within the different chains. Aids in project schedules and assigning General Contractors and/or Sign Vendors. Distributes all required project documents to external and internal contacts. Negotiates pricing, reviews and approves proposals and invoices, tracks progress and ensures close-outs for all miscellaneous construction and signage initiatives assigned. Supplies Field Organization and Management updates detailing the status of all miscellaneous construction and signage initiatives on a regular basis.
(Must Haves) Key Strengths:
• Strong organization and project planning skills are necessary.
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal) are a must.
• Adept in Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and MS Word. Lucernex and Service Channel experience a plus.
• Must be able to manage multiple projects at any one time.
• Highly self-motivated, works well in a team environment.
Good to Have:
• Understanding and ability to read blueprints, specifically Floor Plans, Elevations, and Site Plans.
• Strong knowledge of store layouts, HVAC, electrical and plumbing criteria would be desired.
• Experience working on complex projects is good to have.
• Retail experience is preferred.
• General fixturing, and retail store planning knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to decipher landlord and city codes as it relates to exterior signs.
