Construction Project Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Client Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, and subcontractors, ensuring clear communication, addressing concerns, and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Project Oversight: Take charge of project planning, scheduling, and execution, overseeing all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. Collaborating with the internal management team.
  • Resource Management: Efficiently allocate resources, including labor, subs, materials, and equipment, to optimize project efficiency and meet deadlines.
  • Budget Control: Monitor project budgets closely, identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing strategies to ensure projects are completed within budgetary constraints.
  • Quality Assurance: Uphold commitment to excellence by maintaining high-quality standards and conducting regular inspections to ensure work meets or exceeds client expectations.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies to prevent delays or cost overruns.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, including subcontractors and vendors, to foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and financial records, to track project status and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

 
Requirements
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field. (Preferred)
  • 5+ Years of proven experience as a residential project manager in the construction industry, with a track record of successfully delivering projects, including full additions and new construction projects, on time and within budget.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. BuilderTrend and Matterport experience is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and regulations.
  • Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
