Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Safety Director to lead our construction safety program and promote a culture of safety across all job sites. The ideal candidate will hold a valid OSHA 30 or OSHA 100 certification, possess deep knowledge of federal and state safety regulations, and have proven experience in implementing and overseeing safety practices in the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and enforce company-wide safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA, local, state, and federal regulations.

Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to safety standards and identify potential hazards.

Lead investigations of accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective actions.

Serve as the primary point of contact for all safety-related matters, including interaction with OSHA and other regulatory agencies.

Provide safety training and ongoing education to employees, subcontractors, and site supervisors, including new hire orientations and toolbox talks.

Monitor and manage safety documentation such as job hazard analyses (JHAs), safety data sheets (SDS), and incident logs.

Track and analyze safety performance metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.

Support project teams during preconstruction planning to identify safety risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Ensure proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE) across all job sites.
Qualifications

OSHA 30 or OSHA 100 Certification (Required)

Minimum 5 years of experience in a safety leadership role within the construction industry

Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations

Excellent communication, training, and leadership skills

Proficient in safety management software and Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to travel to multiple job sites as needed

CPR/First Aid certification (Preferred)
