Contract Administrator

Position Summary:
Will work with Estimators, Project Managers, and Accounting to manage and monitor all aspects of subcontracts <$100,000, all blanket purchase orders, all Change Orders, and all material purchase orders on multiple contract projects, including prequalification, completion and tracking of subcontract documents, and other requirements.
Essential Functions/Position Responsibilities:

Adhere to and promote all Company Safety Policies and the Company Code of Conduct.

Prepare all subcontracts <$100,000, all material purchase orders, and all change orders for contract work.

Effectively communicate with subcontractors and project management to facilitate timely receipt of contract documents.

Prepare and maintain status and compliance reports for management.

Initiate and track pre-qualification process on all subcontractors.

Generate and distribute RFPs for all blanket purchase orders.

Issue and administer blanket purchases orders including procurement of general service items.

Serve as the back up to the Contract Administrator II.

Hiring Requirements:

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience with contract administration.

Associate degree or equivalent experience; 6 months or more in the construction field or comparable industry.

Basic knowledge of insurance requirements and contract administration.

Demonstrated ability to gather and analyze information and data skillfully and reach sound conclusions.

Ability to manage competing demands with minimal supervision.

Ability to communicate with clients, executives, and individuals at all levels of the organization.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam.

Detail oriented with good organizational skills.

Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen.
