Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze the company’s financial results
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting and tax standards
- Prepare monitoring reports and budget forecasts
- Recommend improvements to optimize the company’s financial management
- Participate in the preparation of the annual budget and strategic plans
- Review and validate supplier invoices
- Supervise the accounting team and ensure the quality of work performed
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistency of financial data
- Prepare and distribute financial statements in a timely manner
- Coordinate the preparation and follow-up of external auditors’ reviews
- Assist the management team with relevant financial information and advise for optimal decision-making
- Maintain accuracy of accounting figures
- Develop new controls as needed based on changes within the company
Requirements
- Proven professional experience as a controller or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of financial analysis and accounting principles
- In-depth knowledge of current regulations and tax requirements
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with IT tools and accounting software
- Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve company objectives
- Experience supervising financial staff
- Friendly, helpful, and service-oriented disposition
- Solid understanding of finance, budgeting, accounting, and operations to add credibility at all management levels
