Full Job Description

  • All general order entry duties; enter and maintain customer purchase orders in CRM
  • Provide timely feedback to customers regarding order status, shipping methods, expedites, etc.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work place
  • Communicate and follow up on routine matters with internal departments
  • Prepare customer certs/packing slips for Engineering orders
  • Maintain sales orders/part files and records, including technical drawings
  • Process order acknowledgements
  • Answer phones, greet guests
  • Other duties as assigned
  • High school graduate or equivalent with 3 – 5 years Customer Service in manufacturing environment
  • No Call Center Only Experience, Please
  • Demonstrated ability using Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to read title blocks on drawings/revisions
  • 1-2 years Technical Customer Service/Document Control a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Must work well under pressure with a positive attitude
  • Must have a strong sense of responsibility
  • Dependable and trustworthy person

Job Duties:

  • Answer incoming customer inquiries
  • Collaborate with management teams to stay updated on new products, services, and policies
  • Record customer information within our customer service database
  • Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns
  • Offer support and solutions to customers in accordance with the company’s customer service policies
  • Other duties as requested
