Full Job Description
- All general order entry duties; enter and maintain customer purchase orders in CRM
- Provide timely feedback to customers regarding order status, shipping methods, expedites, etc.
- Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work place
- Communicate and follow up on routine matters with internal departments
- Prepare customer certs/packing slips for Engineering orders
- Maintain sales orders/part files and records, including technical drawings
- Process order acknowledgements
- Answer phones, greet guests
- Other duties as assigned
- High school graduate or equivalent with 3 – 5 years Customer Service in manufacturing environment
- No Call Center Only Experience, Please
- Demonstrated ability using Microsoft Office products
- Ability to read title blocks on drawings/revisions
- 1-2 years Technical Customer Service/Document Control a plus
- Excellent communication skills, organized and detail oriented
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Must work well under pressure with a positive attitude
- Must have a strong sense of responsibility
- Dependable and trustworthy person
Job Duties:
- Answer incoming customer inquiries
- Collaborate with management teams to stay updated on new products, services, and policies
- Record customer information within our customer service database
- Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns
- Offer support and solutions to customers in accordance with the company’s customer service policies
