Location: Auburn, MA
Pay: 16.00/hour
 Hybrid remote work after training.

Ideal individuals possess either some office/customer service experience, or have worked in service industry or retail customer service capacities, and are adept at customer communication, de-escalation, and account changes using computerized system. 

Summary:  Customer Service Representative will be responsible for assisting with payment related issues. Assist with collections, data entry, payments, reporting, and account analysis as needed.

The Customer Service Representative must be comfortable in metrics driven environment, exhibit strong attention to detail, fluid computer skills, and professional communication skills, including in de-escalation customer scenarios.
 
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Successfully complete all required training for this position
  • Responsible for understanding and meeting daily, weekly, monthly performance metrics and standards; informing team lead and/or supervisor when issues arise that impact metrics
  • Apply payments to customer accounts, timely and accurately
  • End of the month consolidating, recording, and preparing for storage, all records of the accounting department
  • Cross Train on various job duties within the department such as the daily reconciliations, Logan reconciliations, bankruptcies, and the collections process
  • Provide team support by assisting other departments/department members to ensure all work is completed on a daily basic and all metrics are met, including answering phones
  • Must remain professional under every circumstance with customers/non-customers and staff members
  • Perform other duties as directed by TransCore management

  • Basic skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Team player, strong organizational skills, proactive and conscientious.

Education:

  • High school equivalent required. College education preferred.
