Position Summary
A growing building materials manufacturer in the Bristol area is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to support sales and operations teams. This role serves as a key point of contact for customers and internal departments, ensuring orders are processed accurately and delivered on schedule. The position requires strong organizational skills and experience working with SAP and Salesforce to manage orders, customer data, and project information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers regarding orders, product information, and project updates

  • Process and track customer orders using SAP and maintain accurate customer and order data in Salesforce

  • Review purchase orders, quotes, and project documentation to ensure accuracy and alignment with product specifications

  • Coordinate with sales, production, shipping, and procurement teams to ensure timely order fulfillment

  • Monitor order status, shipping schedules, and backlogs to keep customers informed on delivery timelines

  • Assist the sales team with quote updates and order documentation when needed

  • Maintain organized records of orders, customer communications, and project documentation

  • Resolve customer inquiries, complaints, or order issues while maintaining a high level of professionalism

  • Support internal reporting and data updates within CRM and ERP systems

  • Ensure all information is entered accurately and in a timely manner to support production scheduling

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of customer service, order processing, or sales support experience

  • Experience working in manufacturing, construction, or building materials environments strongly preferred

  • Proficiency with SAP and Salesforce

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word)

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment

  • Primarily office-based within a manufacturing facility

  • Regular coordination with sales, warehouse, and production teams

  • Standard full-time schedule (Monday–Friday)

Compensation

  • $25–$28 per hour, depending on experience
